NOTE that this site had to be quickly moved to a new server with a new version of Perl. Unfortunately the way of interacting with the web form has changed, so I'll have to do some reprogramming to get the buttons and search boxes working. It may have been a little windy, not to mention 7°C cooler than average for the first day of June, but the rain elsewhere in the region kept off of the time trial course tonight. These optimal-enough conditions drew out 40 people - two and two-thirds times the number (15) who endured last week's wet, windy cool conditions. Nine of those who played last week's challenging game might still be recovering, but the six of us who came back for more all were faster this evening. In fact, tonight's average performanceratio for riders relative to their previous season-series best was 1.0147, despite whatever mishap caused Dan Markel to be about seven and a half minutes slower than his Good Friday TT. Here is a graph showing how all of tonight's riders have done this year in this series.
